Next week, November 11 – 13, is the annual TCOM Conference! (For details, and obtaining a ticket, click here). This is like the CES of CANS/ANSA/FAST, where some of the most innovative ideas in outcomes management are shared and developed! Our organization, Community Data Roundtable, has sponsored events at the TCOM Conference for years, and I wanted to highlight today “where” you can find us in this year’s virtual format.
First, CDR staff are presenting two workshops this year. I will be leading a highly interactive workshop entitled CANS and ANSA Collaborative Supervision (November 12, 2:45 – 3:45 EST), which will give the opportunity to practice using CANS/ANSA/FAST reports for transformational supervision. Second, Dr. Jesse Troy and Ryan Torrie are presenting at the oh-so-coveted last slot on a Friday (Friday the 13th, no less, 4:05 – 5:05), on our organization’s cutting-edge use of machine learning to build level of care decision support algorithms (see: Communimetrics and Machine Learning – A collaboration for treatment success).
But beyond these formal presentations, CDR is also behind a few other events at the conference.
First, we are collaborating with the Praed Foundation to put on a conference-wide scavenger hunt we’re calling: MineCANS!
The point of the scavenger hunt is to highlight all the great “nuggets” one “mines” at the TCOM conference. We have ensconced within every presentation and event little Minecraft style blocks with a word on them.
Your job is to grab that word, put it into the “Contest” part of the conference app, and win points! At the end of the conference, who ever got the most points will win a ‘fabulous’ gift basket with gift cards, a fancy-coffee kit, and even a copy of John Lyons’ groundbreaking work, Communimetrics.
Last, but certainly not least, and most relevant to anyone from Pennsylvania, we are participating in the Pennsylvania TCOM Collaborative meeting, which is being held Friday the 13th, 10:00 – 10:45 EST. Anyone interested in participating should just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll give you the details. We will use this meeting to do our basic regional coordination, which is an ongoing effort now entering its second year!
We hope to see you “there,” at this year’s TCOM Cloud Gathering!
