I am pleased to announce the official launching of our brand new Community Data Roundtable website. The original website—which we maintained for about 3 years—was made in one sitting, by CDR co-founder Jesse Troy and myself. We made it more as a dream for what we thought CDR was going to become. As time moved forward it has become clear that the content and structure of the page were no longer in step with the organization, and it was time to modernize.
I want to personally thank CDR’s Chief Business Officer (and let’s be honest: Design Prophet) Amanda Hope, for her spearheading this new website. Also, Erika Alonso from Wonderkind Design has been our designer for about two years now, and I think is doing a great job helping to make our products clear and attractive for all constituencies—so thanks to you both!
CDR’s new website is designed to be an entryway for all groups into the CDR collaborative. Towards this end, we have a section for Payers and Providers, where they can learn how CDR impacts business and clinical issues. We also have a section for Parents and Caregivers, where we try to get families and advocates to understand the power of the information we are gathering, and make it directly helpful to their loved ones.
I look forward to the new year, and the many exciting opportunities the world will afford for us to make it a better place.
