Making a Basic Needs Profile

I have had every intention of starting a regular “vlog” series for years, yet have only posted one.  I’ve even made a few more than that, but I think I’m somehow screen shy, so have often let them stay tucked away in the recesses of my hard drive.

Well, with the Covid-19 crisis, I’ve been thrust along with everybody else into this new digital age, and the immediate need for innovative forms of digital communication has sunk in on me heavily.  And I’m finally ready to do some videos like the one I’m showcasing today.

The topic of this video is how to use our DataPool application to see what your clinical population has looked like since the Covid-19 emergency declaration in early-March.  I’ve designed this video to be short, easy to understand, and also to discuss principles that can be helpful even for those out there who have some different reporting software for their TCOM data.

Further, I think people will see that I’m trying to develop what might be called a “YouTube voice.”  As I’ve seen major studio stars like Stephen Colbert or Jimmy Kimmel flounder in places where Mr. Beast or Jarvis Johnson shine, I’ve become to really appreciate the rough-cut, honest approach of today’s YouTube and TikTok culture, and I want to learn it.

Any tips, comments or requests will certainly be heeded!

Best,

Dan Warner Ph.D.
